Welding Certification Preparatory Course


Course Description

The Welding Certification Preparatory Course is the first in a series of hands-on technical training designed to teach practical repair methods and techniques. MPI is looking forward to working with its partners in moving the industry forward.

This new course will teach the proper technique in steel structural welding through hands-on training and instruction with I-CAR welding instructors. After completing the course attendees will be better prepared to take the I-CAR welding certification WCS03.

Requirements: Welding helmet and proper personal protective equipment

Learning Objectives

Understand the critical nature of welding theory, equipment maintenance and cleaning/preparation of panels. Be able to properly complete different welding joints in different position in order to perform proper vehicle repairs.
